Aquinas pupil achieves 1st place in the ‘Going for Gold’ Art competition
The talented artists from years 8,9,10 took part in the celebration of the Cultural Olympiad, Going for Gold - Art competition. This competition was set by the Belfast Public Library. The pupils had to design a poster that represented the 2012 London Olympics.
Congratulations to Joni Gallagher 10L who came 1st in the Secondary category, achieving a gold medal. Her work will now be on display in the Belfast Central Library during the summer months and will tour other Belfast Libraries.
The following students were runners up in the competition and their work will also be on display at the Library.
