Aquinas pupils descend on the Waterfront Hall and try their hand at modeling
On Friday 4th December four students currently studying A2 Level Art and Design at Aquinas were providing the Interval entertainment at the Waterfront Hall on the night which saw the union of the five Education and Library Boards across Northern Ireland through Culture and Creativity. Aquinas students teamed up with fellow students from Rathmore Grammar school on the night. They wore fashion garments that had been previously designed and constructed during their studies of Art and Design at AS Level in year thirteen, these garments had been designed during a project that was held in conjunction with the Creative Youth Partnerships and The Helen Storey Foundation at the University of Ulster, Belfast Campus. The night was a great success with many guests commenting on the magnificent creativity and skills evident in the craftsmanship of the garments and the fierceness of the models’ dramatic poses.
