Aquinas student beats 250 entries to win Belfast City Centre Management “Stealing is Wrong” Poster Competition

 

Congratulations to Joni Gallagher (Class 11F GCSE Art & Design)

Joni has designed a very eye-catching and informative poster that clearly highlights the issue that ‘stealing is wrong’ this competition was open to all Secondary level students across the Greater Belfast Area and was set by Belfast City Centre Management & Belfast Chamber of Commerce. A total of 250 students entered the competition and over 33% of the 38 Judges awarded Joni’s entry 1st place.
The prize included the printing, distribution and displaying of the winning poster in Shopping Centres, Bus Stops, Onboard Metro Buses, and library’s across Belfast. The whole class also got complimentary tickets for the Big Wheel at Belfast City Hall.

This competition was in conjunction with Retail Crime watch, PSNI and Belfast City Council.
