Using the C2K email

Some Important Email facts . . . .
| Your email address is based on your C2k user name and you use the same password to access it! |
So - if your user name is auser123
Your email address will be auser123@aquinas.belfast.ni.sch.uk
| Your password is the same one you use on the new computers. |
| Remember don't lend your user name or email address or password to anyone. |
| You can't send messages bigger than 1MB and all messages stored in your folders will be deleted after 90 days. |
In school (from a C2K network computer)
Those new computers (the ones that have blue stickers that say C2k) are linked to the email system already.
Go to the Start menu on the bottom left of your screen and select the E-mail icon (Learning NI)
Follow the instructions on the screen and you should be automatically logged into you email area.
That's it!
At home or using one of the older Network machines in school
You need to open up an Internet Page using Microsoft Internet Explorer and type in the following web address.
(It is a good idea to add this as a favourite site - click once when the page is open with your right mouse button and then click Add to favourites)
You will then be prompted to enter your username and password to let you into the C2k WAN service.
Type in your username BUT FIRST TYPE THE WORD 'school' to tell C2K to look for you on the school network.
User Name : school\auser123
Password: *********
Then click Ok and then work away as normal.
