History Makers! We are Proud of you.

As our MacLarnon Cup campaign comes to an end we look back on a journey, that went beyond all expectation, taking our School Community to a new level.

The first ever MacLarnon Cup winners, from Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School, 33 years in the making.

As a School Community we are immensely proud of their achievements but more so of their dedication, commitment, passion, desire and application to being the best version of themselves they could be.

Our year 14s have worked for this moment since they came through the door in Year 8, playing, training, bus journeys, they became a band of brothers and shared days they will remember for the rest of their lives.

They committed every midterm break to train, there wasn’t a Monday morning gym session missed nor was there an excuse given. It was a privilege to work with such a group.

To the MacLarnon winners of 2026 we say a massive thank you and we wish you well in your future sporting and academic endeavours. To those who remain with us for another season, we are beyond excited for what the MacRory Cup campaigns will bring in the future!

A massive thank you to our players, parents, coaches, staff , feeder clubs, sponsors and counties for supporting us on our journey this far, this is only the beginning.

To all who wore an Aquinas Jersey in 2026, you always will be a special group of players, you have been great ambassadors for our school, you are The History Makers.
