Friday 17 April 2026 Aquinas All Star News! Congratulations to Year 12 pupil Fintan McArdle on receiving a Queens University Belfast Future Stars award. This is the first time Aquinas have been represented on the boys Future Star Team. However, Fintan follows in his sister Anna's footsteps collecting an Award from Queens GAA with Anna receiving a future star award in 2024. Fintan was corner forward on our MacLarnon winning team and is looking forward to MacRory football next year, Fintan's older brother Declan also played A grade Ulster Schools when in Aquinas, winning the Corn Na Og Shield in 2018!

Thursday 16 April 2026 Spring Concert 2026 On Thursday 26th March we held our annual Spring Concert. It was a fantastic showcase of the talented musicians we have in our school. The night included performances form our Brass Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Traditional Group, School Orchestra, String Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Folk Choir, Year 8-11 Choir, Year 12-14 Choir, Senior Vocal Ensemble and Soloists. Congratulations to everyone involved, your performances were outstanding.

Tuesday 3 March 2026 Ulster Sec. Schools' Cross-Country Championships The Ulster Sec. Schools' Cross-Country Championships were held at Mallusk Playing Fields, Belfast on Wednesday 18th February 2026. Yet again the weather conditions were very challenging, with rain, wind, hailstones, sleet, and lots of mud.Aquinas had eight runners who had qualified from Districts and four have now qualified for the All- Ireland on Saturday 7 March. Well done Cillian, Georgina, Katie, and Rory.

Tuesday 17 February 2026 District ‘A’ Schools Cross Country Championships After Billy Neill Playing Fields cancelled twice, the District ‘A' Schools Cross Country Championships finally went ahead at a wet and very windy Bishopscourt Racing Circuit, near Downpatrick.Aquinas had a squad of 20 runners and came back to school with 2 medals. Katie was 1st in Inter Girls and Georgina the 2nd Junior Girl. Eight students have qualified for the Ulsters on 18 February at Mallusk. Congratulations to Eloise, Celeste, Clodagh, Cillian, Georgina, Katie, Rory and Daniel. Well done Mila, Conor, Natasha, Francesca, Sophie, Amy, Niamh, Tyler, Alex, Diarmuid, Tom and Joseph, who all ran in very challenging conditions.
