Joe's Golfing success
Congratulations to Joe one of our Year 10 students.
Joe had a very successful summer on the golf course, being selected to represent Ulster in the prestigious Under-14 Inter-provincial Championships, a significant honour which recognises the top young golfers in the country.
Individually, Joe competed in the Irish Under-14 Boy’s Amateur Open Championship at Holywood Golf Club. In a strong international field containing some of the best golfers from Ireland and beyond, he produced an outstanding performance to finish 12th in the gross and 1st in the Overall Nett Championship.
Joe then took this excellent form into the Inter-provincials, winning two of his three matches and helping Ulster secure the championship title over the other three provinces.
