Matthew heads to Barcelona

Shout out to very promising Aquinas goalkeeper, Matthew Day.

Matthew was part of the U14 South Belfast Select team which reached the final of the prestigious Schoolboys’ Football Association of Ireland’s (SFAI) Inter League Cup.

Having seen off Cork in the semi final a couple of weeks ago the boys were sadly undone by Donegal in the final. A huge achievement for Matthew nonetheless to be selected ahead of all the GKs in the league.

Matthew is due to travel to Barcelona to play in the Costa Brava Cup for the SB Select team.
